Armstrong Shake Rattle and Roll
A monthly program for Armstrong families featuring a community kitchen. It is held at the Ni-Gik-Keam Drop In Centre.

Breakfast Buddies
Families learn to prepare and cook breakfast together and enjoy fun activities. Offered one Friday morning a month in Thunder Bay.

Community Kitchens
Individuals cook several meals together for their families and contribute toward the cost of the food. Offered at the Thunder Bay and Longlac sites. In Thunder Bay, one monthly community kitchen is for Aboriginal women.

Community Garden
Community garden in Longlac to promote the interaction amongst residents, to reduce the isolation of seniors, to share gardening skills, and grow healthy food.

Emergency Shelf
Non-perishables items are available for families in need in the Thunder Bay area.

Food to Grow On
Young moms cook several meals together for their families and contribute toward the cost of the food. Some months may feature baby food making. Offered in Thunder Bay.

Fruitvale's Plus
A school program to introduce fruits and vegetables, while providing nutrition education. Provided to more than 400 students twice a month in Longlac.

Healthy Eating
An program introducing healthy eating concepts. May includes preparing a healthy meal together. Offered once a year in Longlac.

Kids Food Fun
A cooking program for children. Includes games, activities and snacks. The 6 weekly sessions are offered in the summer in Longlac.

Living with Diabetes
Education for seniors and their spouses about managing diabetes, exercise, healthy recipe demonstrations, blood pressure and blood sugars can be measured. Offered monthly in Thunder Bay and Longlac.

Senior Community Kitchen
Seniors cook several meals together to bring home on a monthly basis. Basic shelf items are provided free of charge. Offered monthly in Thunder Bay and Longlac.

Seniors Lunch
Soup and sandwiches are served, bus rides are provided on request, and monthly calendars of activities are distributed. Offered monthly in Thunder Bay and every second month in Longlac.
