Programs unique to Thunder Bay:
Our prenatal and parenting programs provide you with information about pregnancy, and how to take care of yourself and your new baby. You get ideas on how to stretch your budget, how to improve your nutrition, and how to promote your child's development and self-esteem.
We offer a weekly Aboriginal drop-in program. A women's group and a mixed group provide cultural enrichment as participants make traditional arts and crafts such as beading, moccasin making and quilting.
Our counsellor can help you deal with difficulties at home, work, or with your relationships. Help for survivors of trauma, abuse, anxiety or depression is available.
In collaboration with other agencies we offer support and information for individuals and families affected by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder.
In partnership with other agencies, we provide weekly outreach and a hot lunch program during the school year, at Thunder Bay Housing Authority's Limbrick Place.
We can help you get a Health Card and other types of identification.
